China¡¯s Kunming Export Commodities Fair
China¡¯s Kunming Export Commodities Fair under the approval of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation of the People¡¯s Republic of China,is a regional fair jointly sponsored by Sichuan Province, Yunnan Province, Guizhou Province, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Tibet , Chongqing City and Chengdu City.
The fair has been held successfully for seven times since 1993, recording an accumulating total transaction volume of some 11.2 billion US$. Over the past seven years, the fair has received a large number of participating foreign delegations from over 60 countries and regions including the US, Britain, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Japan, Korea, etc., as well as more than 2000 participating enterprises from over 20 provinces, regions or cities in China.
At present, the fair, which is growing into a regional exposition, has become a significant window or bridge to further boost the opening-up of southwest China and facilitate the economic and commercial co-operation between China and Southwest Asia, South Asia and other foreign countries.
